Removing Tape Residue from Glass with Hand Sanitizer

Okay, this is not earth-shaking, but wow, here’s a tip I want to remember!

For years, I’ve been meaning to remove the unsightly tape residue from my office window. Tonight, staffing a rental, seemed to be a good time to tackle this, and I found a solution on YouTube.

(How did the residue get there? I’m the problem – it’s me. I had taped some paper to the glass to reduce afternoon glare. Later finding a better method, the begrimed evidence remained, sigh, but removing it properly was at the very bottom of my priority list…)

The solution? Hand sanitizer! A little soak, a little rub, a little wipe, done. No streaks. Extremely satisfying.

Here’s the video. Enjoy!
